  • Demographic information and dating preferences shared verbally or through interaction with our AI

Since our primary interface is through our AI system, most of your profile information is stored in our conversational database. To review or request changes to your information, you can interact with our AI assistant or contact our support team directly. You acknowledge and agree that we may collect publicly available information about you from third-party websites and services to enhance our matching algorithms and service quality. This may include professional information, education history, public social media content, and other publicly available data.

AI-GENERATED CONTENT AND MATCHING

Wist uses artificial intelligence to process user inputs and generate dating profiles, personality insights, and match suggestions. While our AI is designed to be accurate and helpful, it may sometimes produce incomplete, imprecise, or inappropriate content. You acknowledge that:

  • Wist does not guarantee the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated insights or matches.
  • Any actions you take based on AI recommendations are solely your responsibility.
  • You agree to use the platform with an understanding that AI content may occasionally reflect bias, error, or unexpected behavior.

4. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

4.1 With Other Users

Your profile information and preferences collected through our AI system may be used to match you with other users. Information you provide during voice onboarding and through conversations with our AI interface will be processed to create matching profiles and may be shared in a limited format with potential matches. You understand that by using our Services, your matching preferences, interests, and non-identifying profile elements will be visible to other users we match you with. Unlike traditional dating apps, you do not have a self-managed visual profile that you can edit, but rather a profile derived from your interactions with our AI system.

4.2 With Service Providers and Partners

We may share your information with third-party service providers and partners who help us deliver our Services, including:

  • Hosting and server providers
  • Payment processors
  • Analytics services
  • Customer support services
  • Marketing and advertising partners
  • Security and fraud prevention services

We collect voice data that may be considered biometric:

  • Used to personalize your experience and enhance AI training
  • Retained only as long as necessary or as required by law
  • Never sold

You may opt-out of voice-based features at any time.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Our Services are global; your information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws. We use safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data remains protected.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Wist is for users 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Suspect a minor? Please report them via the in-app mechanism.

12. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
